Birthday Celebrations!!!

It was my birthday 2 weeks ago!!!

I had a really good time with family and friends and really enjoyed celebrating it this year.
On the Thursday I went to watch the 'Russian Ice Stars' perform Snow White on Ice with my mam, sister and best friend. The skaters were amazing and the whole performance was phenomenal!!! If you ever get the chance to see them, I'd say go. :)
On the Friday we had grandparents over for a 'party' with all of my favourite foods and people around me.
On the Saturday I went to Pizza Hut and the to the cinema to see Insurgent with 3 of my friends. After seeing Divergent I couldn't wait to see Insurgent and I don't think it could have been any better.
Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. Below are some of the presents I got from friends and family.

A River Island make up bag, Soap & Glory hand cream and Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume.

Chocolate is always a great gift for me!
Frozen tissues.
Some lovely bracelets from my sister.

More bracelets from my sister.

Easter

We've been back at school for a whole week now and already I'm snowed under with homework! But... I had a great two weeks off and I wanted to share some of what I got up to with you.
Easter is one of my favourite times of year. The flowers are starting to come out, the trees are getting leaves on them and the world looks like its waking up.
In most families their Easter is filled with chocolate and egg hunts but in ours we get some chocolate but my mam always gives us a couple of presents too. This is what I got this year:
A cute notebook with a difference - it has sticky notes inside as well as paper to write on.

A collection of chocolate.
A jar of sweets - me, my brother and my sister got one each.

My parents went away this Easter for a conference so I stayed at my sister's. We had tonnes of fun from baking funny Minion cakes and gorgeous brownies to watching Bradley Cooper in The Hangover trilogy. <3
The Hangover trilogy is amazingly hilarious and the cakes and brownies were delicious!!!
I would definitely recommend all three.

Over these past three weeks I have been really busy with revision (something which I'll have to get used to over the next few years) and moving about a lot between my sister's and my parent's houses. However, I did manage to squeeze a day in to go to the Metro centre and buy some new clothes for spring and summer-as well as my birthday.

What did you do this Easter?

February Favourites

February has been a fun and busy month. I met up with friends I hadn't seen in years, and I've been revising and working for upcoming tests and exams. Although being really busy, I've managed to come up with a few favourites for February, and here they are...

Food
(source)
Pancakes - It was Pancake Day on the 17th and if you know me, you will know I absolutely love pancakes!!! Read THIS post to find out more.

Jelly Tots - When I was younger I loved Jelly Tots but for some reason I stopped eating them. I recently rediscovered them and I really don't understand why I ever stopped.

Chilli Heatwave Doritos - By far my favourite Dorito flavour.

Hair
Hot buns - My Mam bought these for me a few weeks ago and I love them!!! They are so easy to use and they create a great, impressive hairstyle in a matter of moments. You get two sizes in the box. Available from DebenhamsJML Direct and many other shops.

Skin
Simple Micellar Cleansing Water - This was another recent discovery and it is so simple to use. It removes make up easily and leaves your skin feeling great! All of the natural ingredients that Simple use means its not a cleanser you have to wash off, making it hassle free as well as great for your skin.

Music
Megan Trainer album - Title
Sam Smith album - In The Lonely Hour

Films
The Other Woman

Let me know what you think in the comments and tell me some of your February favourites.

Pancake Day!!!!

Pancake Day is a wonderful day! It is one of the only days for my family when we eat pancakes, and I absolutely love them. :D

My favourite toppings this year have been sugar, strawberries and golden syrup (not all together). You might be able to tell I have a bit of a sweet tooth.

After Pancake day (Shrove Tuesday), Lent starts and lots of people decide to give up something for the next 40 days (until Easter). For me I always enjoy pancake day and Easter but lent is something that just seems to happen in the middle. :/

This year I want to actually do something and feel like I have achieved something during lent. I've decided to write a few reviews for my second blog so that when I start posting on it again, I will have a few posts ready to go up straight away. At the moment I have a few ideas of films, products etc that I would love to write a review on but if you have any suggestions for me please contact me in some way letting me know (comments, e-mail, instagram, twitter).

What are some of your favourite toppings for pancakes and are you doing anything for lent?

It Was Good While It Lasted...

(source)
I've already been back at school for around three weeks now but this (2am at a friends sleepover) is the first bit of free time I've managed to find. I had forgotten how much of my life homework takes up!!! :( But I have loved seeing people again and catching up on what happen over the Christmas holidays.

This year I had a great response to my blogmas attempts and I'm already looking forward to next year (is that a bit sad?). I've got big plans for my blog(s) over the next few months, but all will be revealed later in the year at some point.

For me this quote (right) sums up all of my feelings about holidays from school, especially Christmas and Summer.

I know this is only a short post but I'm really tired at the moment and didn't have much to say either.

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a great start to the new year.

New Year, New Goals

(source) Thanks Louise xx

It's now a whole year since I started blogging!!!

The first post I ever wrote was about New Years Resolutions and I'm happy to say I have done most of what I said I would.

  • I did start a blog (2 actually, 2nd blog) but I didn't keep posting on it throughout the year. :(
  • I did make more of an effort to enjoy the little things.
  • I focused on the good more than the bad this year too.
This year I plan to:

  • Keep Blogging, The support I've had so far has been great and I hope it will continue into the future.
  • Organise my life more, do things when/where/how I say I will.
  • Bake more and do more of what makes me happy.
  • Get fitter, I really need to exercise more.
This time last year I was having quite a hard time and I didn't how it could ever get any better but I'm glad to say 2014 was a lot more enjoyable than 2013. I hope 2015 will be just as amazing. :)

Any suggestions of posts or reviews to write will be gladly accepted. Comment below, email, instagram or tweet me.

What are your New Years Resolutions?
